Final Project

For my final project I wanted to photograph my dad fishing.

He has fished all of my life...and all of his life.
I have always known him as a fisherman.
When my mom was going into labor my dad was on the lake. A friend had to go find him... He made it in time for my birth.

I wanted to show the "details" of fishing and show my dad in action.

And of course I photographed the fish he caught... It wasn't very big (just thought I should inform you of that first.)

Assignment #2

High & Low Key:

Camera "Correct"

High Key:

Low Key:

I really enjoyed this assignment. I found it easier to edit my images in Lightroom because I did not have to change the exposure (all I had to do was go through my images to pick the one with the exposure that I liked). I also enjoyed finding different items to place together and shoot…I found that I preferred shooting white images. I learned more about my camera and how to control the light let into it.
